Here is the Systems Federation .45 polar Combat pistol.

This pistol is used by personnel on ships and land and space stations as a standard side arm. Based around a desert eagle with a bit of a futuristic feel to it.

reminds me of that obnoxiously long auto-pistol from robocop more than a Deagle, also the blue decals/pushbutton safety above the trigger, lack of visible ejection port (maybe it's on the right side, just realized that!) and lack of appreciable backstrap make it say Energy Weapon to me.
